I was born here. Lüneburg Heath connects familiar landscapes with the pleasure of discovering new paths.

Heathland and wide horizons

Juniper, sandy paths and historic farmsteads reveal a landscape shaped over generations. Take your time and stay on marked paths.

A few highlights

Totengrund is a striking heathland valley; Wilseder Berg opens up wide views. Wilsede and the “Dat ole Huus” museum introduce historic heathland life. Oberhaverbeck is a starting point for paths towards Turmberg and Wilsede.

Wilsede lies in a car-free nature reserve. Use designated access routes and check museum opening times.

Heidschnuckenweg

The Heidschnuckenweg links heathland, woodland and villages between Hamburg-Fischbek and Celle. You can explore individual stages or plan a longer walk. Official route information helps with stage selection and preparation.
