Between dunes and sea
Around Ouddorp, broad beaches meet a dune landscape that changes with the light, wind and seasons. A walk need not climb a hill: moving between a sheltered dune path and the open beach brings variety to the day.
A view to the horizon
Beside the sea, the wind sets the pace. Firm sand alternates with softer stretches, so the same distance can feel quite different on the way out and back. There is room to pause and watch the waves.
Care for the coast
Dunes protect the coast and provide habitats for plants and wildlife. Using designated paths and beach access points helps preserve them. Before a longer walk, check the wind, tides and return route.
